Alan Thicke, actor and TV host, known vastly for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver on the hit 80s sitcom “Growing Pains,” had quite an interesting personal life, mainly regarding his marriage. In this article, we’ll uncover the details about Alan Thicke’s wife and his family.

Alan Thicke’s Three Wives: Tanya Callau, Gloria Loring and Gina Tolleson

Alan Thicke was married three times. His first wife was Gloria Loring, whom he married from 1970 to 1983. Gloria Loring is an actress, singer, and mother of Brennan and  Robin Thicke

After his marriage to Gloria Loring ended, Alan Thicke married his second wife, Gina Tolleson, a Miss World 1990 winner. Alan and Gina were married from 1994 until their divorce in 1999, and they had a son named Carter William Thicke.

Lastly, Alan Thicke was married to Tanya Callau (47 years old), whom she was married to at the time of his passing. Tanya, a Bolivian-born actress, was Thicke’s third wife.

The couple tied the knot in 2005 and remained together until Alan’s untimely death in 2016. Thicke and Callau met in Miami in 1999, and their relationship blossomed over the years, leading to their happy marriage.

War Over Alan Thicke’s Estate

Alan Thicke’s will generated public interest after his death. His estate plan, created in 1988 and last updated in 2016, stated that his three sons would inherit most of his assets, including the family ranch.

A prenuptial agreement signed by Callau before their marriage in 2005 allowed her to remain on the ranch if she took care of its expenses. This agreement’s ambiguity about the trust caused family disputes.

Brennan and Robin, Thicke’s sons, filed a legal claim stating that Callau wanted a larger share than what was outlined in the estate plan. Callau’s lawyer criticized the poorly constructed prenuptial agreement and claimed the sons had rejected mediation.

The sons’ lawyer emphasized Thicke’s intention to secure his children’s future. Eventually, a judge dismissed the lawsuit due to lack of evidence. Callau received 40% of the estate, while each son received 20%, and she got to keep their home.

Callau expressed her best wishes for her stepsons’ well-being and hoped for healing between them.
